Central Elective Endoscopy Decontamination

Refurbishment, alterations and extension to the existing endoscopy decontamination department in the Belfast City Acute Hospital.

Compliant with Department of Health recommendations and National Health Guideline HTM01-06, Works were undertaken within a ‘live’ endoscopy decontamination department and phased to minimise disruption to core services; complex programming to facilitate adjacent departments (theatres) and services beyond the immediate works footprint (700m²). These requirements were carefully detailed in the tender and contract documentation resulting in a realistic tender and improved cost certainty.
